the Gardener's Journal
An ongoing body of unique pigmented inkjet & mixed media explorations on mounted paper

along his journey, a traveler came across an old man,
“wise sage, what is the secret to living?”
without looking up, he replied...

"oh look, a flower..."

To find balance in this uneasy world, the garden offers much by way of metaphor and universal experience. My own garden meditations mute the chatter of contemporary life as it weaves itself into my imagery. Through the use of exploding florals placed amidst atmospheric landscapes, I meld shapes and forms found in nature with elements created in computer to evolve a visual language looking for clarity along my garden path.
